(Range of fixed fees for a business to business debt that is undisputed).
These costs apply when your claim is in relation to an unpaid invoice which is not disputed, and enforcement action is not needed. If the other party dispute your claim at any point, we will discuss any further work required and provide you with revised advice about costs if necessary, which could be on a fixed fee (e.g. if a one-off letter is required), or an hourly rate if more extensive work is needed.

The time it takes to receive your instructions and receive payment from your opponent differs from case to case. On average it usually takes between 1-2 months to successfully recover monies (if the debt is undisputed). If it is necessary to issue a claim, this will invariably cause delay. Also, if enforcement action is needed, the matter will take longer to resolve.

Andrew Joseph James Settle
Andrew possesses seven years post-qualification experience within the industry and is the Managing Partner of Joseph James Law. Andrew predominantly deals with cases following the commencement of legal proceedings until trial and as a Solicitor Advocate sets the tactical agenda to ensure the case has the best prospect of success. He has a simplistic, straightforward approach to legal services and also has a keen interest in technological innovations to reduce costs for clients. 1. This fee excludes any and all disbursements which may be incurred e.g. barristers fee, court issue fees etc.

I had the mis fortune to need Legal advice over an employment issue right at the start of the Covid 19 outbreak/lock down period.
